Design Consultant Spotlight: Heather Stramandinoli

While out walking with an old friend, Heather learned about the company her friend was working for part-time, where you design your own handbags.  A few steps later, without even knowing the full LexiWynn story, Heather jumped at the chance to host a party.  "The basic idea alone sounded terrific – who doesn’t want a handbag that is made just for them to fit their needs?" she thought.

Three weeks into this new friendship, she was hosting a party and totally hooked.  She told us that the positive energy and enthusiasm that filled her house as all her friends created a bag exactly how they wanted it, down to the last interior pocket was such a thrill for her.  When the box of purses from the party arrived a few weeks later, she felt like Santa Claus on Christmas morning bringing that “one” gift that they had been totally wishing for.

For the past 12 years Heather has been a 3rd and 4th grade elementary school teacher.  She have always known that she was never meant to sit behind a desk without constantly transitioning from one activity to the next, which was why teaching children was the perfect match.  Years ago, along with teaching, she had her own little side business that allowed her to be creative and make a product that was one of a kind.  That creative business got put to the back burner once her two children arrived Olivia (now almost 5) and Will (2).  Today, she still teaches active children all day and then comes home to enjoy her own.  However, she felt like a piece of the creative side of her was missing.

Again, while walking with the same friends just a few months later she offered to host another LexiWynn party.  They pulled it off with just 15 days notice and again the excitement, energy and creativity just got her.  This was what she was missing – being creative.  She shared with her husband the night after the LexiWynn party that she was thinking about being a Design Consultant.  He saw the creative spark that she had said she was missing.  So, she signed on with Seth and Alexa and couldn’t be more excited for this new creative adventure.  Like she said, “Who doesn’t want a handbag that is totally made just for them?”

If you would like to experience the creative energy and excitement of LexiWynn in Connecticut, please feel free to contact Heather at her email (heather@lexiwynn.com) or 203-249-8836.  She looks forward to helping you design your very own custom LexiWynn!
